Wembley Stadium has confirmed a rule change for Harry Styles' upcoming concerts during a scorching heatwave, permitting refillable water bottles and offering free sun cream to fans. The Met Office has issued a rare red warning as temperatures are set to reach 38°C in parts of southern England and southeast Wales.
Water bottle policy relaxed
Empty soft-plastic bottles with tops off, up to 500ml, can be brought into the stadium and refilled at free water stations inside. Water points are available on all levels, including the pitch, and on the external concourse between turnstiles G&F, J&H, M&N, and B&C. Metal water bottles remain banned for safety reasons, but the policy can be relaxed in extreme circumstances, according to stadium officials.
“Our traditional policies around water bottles have been relaxed for the past few events as temperatures have risen, and we would encourage guests to bring plastic bottles as per above and refill them inside the stadium,” a Wembley spokesperson told Metro.
Free sun cream and health advice
Free sun cream is available at all information points. Additional messaging around the stadium reminds guests to hydrate regularly and take breaks in the shade. Overnight camping is not permitted; fans are advised to queue on the day of the show.
Harry Styles' running habit
Harry Styles himself may need shade breaks—he was spotted jogging to his third Wembley show from his Hampstead Heath mansion, about 10km away, wearing a jumper in the heat. He ran the Berlin Marathon in under three hours during a break from music. Fans reacted on social media: “only harry would run to his own stadium concert in 30+ degrees outside,” wrote @goldenrryhrry on X. “he’s so random like wdym THE harry styles runs to work to Wembley,” laughed @finelineclarke.
Concert schedule and attendance
Styles performs on Tuesday, June 23 (predicted 37°C), and Friday through Sunday (33°C). He is joined by Shania Twain, who starts at 6:55pm, followed by Harry at 8:15pm. The show ends with fireworks around 10:30pm. The London leg of his Together, Together residency is expected to attract 1.08 million fans across seven shows at the 90,000-capacity venue.
