The Bear opening pop-up kitchen in east London this weekend

Disney+ is bringing The Bear to London this weekend with a pop-up kitchen in Shoreditch that will give away 2,000 Italian-style subs over two days. The activation, held on Sunday June 28 and Monday June 29 at the Truman Brewery on Dray Walk, recreates the beloved sub-serving hatch-in-the-wall diner from the first season of the hit series.

What to expect at the pop-up

The pop-up will be hidden behind a standard billboard, with a live kitchen operating behind it. Visitors can watch the high-pressure kitchen in action and grab a free Chicago-style sandwich. The menu includes a slow-roasted beef sandwich and a roasted portobello mushroom sandwich as a vegan option.

Timings and availability

Each day offers three service windows. On Sunday June 28, the hatch opens at 12:30-1pm, 2-3pm, and 4-5pm. On Monday June 29, services run at 1:15-3pm, 4-5pm, and 6-7pm, with a surprise chef during the first service. A thousand subs will be given away each day, so early arrival is recommended to avoid disappointment.
