Radial, a new grassroots music venue, will open in Tottenham, north London, on September 5. The venue will host live music, listening events, talks, and club nights, with a capacity of 250-300 standing or up to 80 seated. It also plans to offer workshops and sound-based wellness classes.
Venue Details and Design
The venue is launched by Ten87 Studios, which operates over 60 recording studios and creative workspaces in the area. Ten87 has worked with notable artists including Fontaines DC, Wolf Alice, Sherelle, and Mount Kimbie. The main performance room features a 10-point custom-built sound system, with flexible Japanese-style loungers lining the walls. A separate bar includes inbuilt side tables and speakers, allowing patrons to purchase drinks without missing the music.
Location and Pre-Opening Events
Radial is located at 39b Markfield Rd, N15 4QA. Ahead of its official opening, four one-off club nights are scheduled for July and August. The venue joins a growing cultural scene in Tottenham, which recently saw the debut of The Sarabande Foundation, founded by the late fashion designer Lee Alexander McQueen, converting Georgian grade II*-listed townhouses into 14 creative workshops.
