Swedish salad chain Holy Greens is opening its first London outpost at Cabot Square in Canary Wharf, bringing its popular posh salads to the UK capital for the first time. The company, which has 30 restaurants across Sweden, was founded in 2013 by David Egonson and Nebo Pavicevic with a philosophy of making fast food 'simple, fresh, and made with care'.
Menu and expansion plans
The Swedish menu features fresh salads with chicken, quinoa, hand-peeled shrimp, glass noodles and beetroot hummus, alongside hot bowls with black rice and coleslaw, light breakfast options and a children's menu. While no official opening date has been set, Holy Greens is already recruiting staff and planning several more openings across London.
Chief executive Sabrina Jaeger said the London opening marks 'an important step' in Holy Greens' international journey, adding its 'ambition extends much further' and they are 'building for the long term'.
Posh salad trend in London
Holy Greens joins a growing number of premium salad chains in London. The Salad Project recently opened its 15th outpost in London Bridge station, while health-focused Atis has 16 stores across the capital, including its largest location in St James's.
