Elizabeth Hurley has opened up about meeting Miley Cyrus, the daughter of her partner Billy Ray Cyrus. The 61-year-old actress, known for her role in Austin Powers, confirmed her relationship with the 64-year-old country singer in April 2025, following his divorce from his third wife, Firerose, in 2024. During an appearance on SiriusXM's Radio Andy with Andy Cohen, Hurley shared her impressions of the 33-year-old pop star.
Meeting Miley
When asked if she had met Miley Cyrus, Hurley replied: 'I have. I have met Miley. She's adorable.' She went on to explain that her son, Damian Hurley, whom she shares with the late Steve Bing, was a longtime fan of Miley. 'He used to love Hannah Montana,' Hurley said. 'So he loved Father Montana and you know, he loved Miley too, so I always knew who she was and when he was a young teen, he used to love all her music. I used to have to watch her music videos like Wrecking Ball a zillion times with him, so we were very familiar with who she was, and I knew I was going to like her and I do like her.'
Family Blending
Billy Ray Cyrus has six children: Brandi, 39, and Trace, 37, whom he adopted during his marriage to his second wife, Tish Cyrus-Purcell; Miley, Braison, 32, and Noah, 26, with Tish; and Christopher, 34, from a previous relationship. Last year, Hurley spoke to Metro about bonding with Billy Ray's daughters. At the premiere of The Inheritance, she said: 'We've had most of the summer off. We've seen both his daughters play in London, ironically, which is great, and we spent a lot of time with my son. But this is actually the first business thing he's come to with me, and it's been great to have him here. Really nice.'
Public Support
In June 2025, Hurley posted a photo on Instagram of Damian and Miley at the London premiere of Miley's film Something Beautiful, captioning it: 'The babies are all grown up ❤️.' The post highlighted the growing bond between the two families. Hurley and Billy Ray first met in 2022 while filming Christmas in Paradise, reportedly reconnecting two years later before going public with their relationship in April 2025.
Shared Interests
In the same interview, Hurley discussed her relationship with the country music icon, revealing they split their time between her English home and the Tennessee countryside. 'We like doing the same things, which some people would think is a little odd. We like bird watching. We've got binoculars. We've got long lenses, and we watch birds of prey a lot,' she shared. 'I do the gardening. He sits under a tree and plays his guitar, and we couldn't be happier. May sound odd to some people, but for me, it's bliss.'
