A subsequent area search led police to intercept the suspect car on Southend Road, a major section of the North Circular Road, less than 30 minutes later.
Three men, aged 37 and two aged 46, along with two women, aged 32 and 41, were arrested on suspicion of commercial robbery and remain in custody. All stolen items were returned to the store, and no injuries were reported among staff or members of the public.
