3 London coffee shops among Europe's best in list

Three London coffee shops have earned a spot on the prestigious list of Europe's 100 Best Coffee Shops, compiled by the organization behind the World's 100 Best Coffee Shops. The recognition comes after London was entirely snubbed in the global top 100, which featured only two UK entries, both in Scotland, while Australia and the US dominated with seven and nine entries respectively.

Rosslyn Coffee: London's Top Spot

Rosslyn Coffee, located on Queen Victoria Street in the City of London, secured the highest ranking among London entries at 12th place. Established in 2018, the chain has expanded to nine outlets across the Square Mile but maintains its indie roots with distinctive, high-quality brewed coffee. According to the list, Rosslyn Coffee is the best coffee shop in the UK.

Moonstruck Café: An Oasis of Calm

Moonstruck Café on South Lambeth Road in Stockwell came in at number 18. Known for its magnolia-colored, minimalist interiors, the café offers a serene atmosphere described as an "oasis of calm." It features bold, punchy coffee with unique flavors, and a non-profit art space downstairs that strengthens its community ties.

Oma Coffee Roaster: Small but Mighty

Oma Coffee Roaster on Eastcastle Street near Oxford Circus ranked 94th. Originating from Hong Kong, this new addition to London's coffee scene champions the phrase "small but mighty." It offers world-class beans, including geisha varieties and seasonal offerings, making each visit a unique experience.

These three cafes represent London's diverse coffee culture, from established chains to intimate boutiques, and highlight the city's resilience in the European coffee scene.
