British Transport Police (BTP) have launched a public appeal for witnesses after a shocking mass brawl broke out inside a Wetherspoons pub at London Victoria station.
Chaos on the Balcony
The violent altercation erupted at approximately 11.20pm on Saturday, January 3, 2026. The fight started on the pub's balcony, which overlooks the station's main concourse, unfolding in front of numerous shocked travellers and pub-goers.
Footage shared on social media captured the moment one man was seen punching a rival in the head. The situation quickly escalated, forcing other customers and station staff to intervene in an attempt to separate those involved and restore order.
Police Response and Arrests
Officers from the British Transport Police attended the scene. A total of nine men were arrested in connection with the incident. The arrests were made on suspicion of affray, with one man also detained on suspicion of common assault.
All nine individuals have been released from custody while police enquiries continue. It remains unclear whether anyone sustained injuries during the fracas, or the extent of any harm caused.

BTP are now urging anyone who witnessed the disorder or who may have captured video evidence to come forward. They are particularly keen to speak to those who were present at the Wetherspoons pub that evening.
