London Tube Closures July: Hammersmith & City Line Shut First Weekend
London Tube Closures July: Hammersmith & City Line Shut

July is a busy month for London, with crowds of tourists and concertgoers descending on the capital's transport network. Thankfully, city dwellers can expect minimal disruption on busy lines compared to earlier in the year. Transport for London has only listed a small number of partial or full closures across the 31 days, affecting just four Tube lines. The Victoria, Northern and Jubilee will not shut at all, with the Metropolitan line only shut in part over one weekend.

Hammersmith & City Line Full Closure

The biggest headache is the full weekend closure of the Hammersmith & City line at the start of the month. This will affect Mumford and Sons and Duran Duran fans heading to BST Hyde Park via Paddington station. Late night and early morning services on the Overground and Elizabeth line are also subject to altered timetables on various days.
