The Piccadilly, District and Metropolitan lines will be the most severely impacted by planned closures on July 11-12, 2026, according to Transport for London. Services on the Piccadilly line are majorly disrupted due to the introduction of new trains. Additionally, the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) and London Overground's Windrush line will also see changes.
Piccadilly Line
On Saturday July 11 (all day, from 12.45am) and Sunday July 12 (all day), no trains will run between Hammersmith and Heathrow Airport or Uxbridge. Passengers travelling to Heathrow are advised to use the Elizabeth line or Heathrow Express instead.
District Line
On both Saturday July 11 and Sunday July 12, no trains will operate between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway.
Metropolitan Line
On July 11 and 12, services will be suspended between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Uxbridge.
DLR
On Sunday July 12, there will be no trains between Shadwell and Tower Gateway.
Windrush Line (London Overground)
On Sunday July 12, trains will not run between Wandsworth Road and Clapham Junction until 9am.
Waterloo and City Line
As usual, the Waterloo and City line remains closed on weekends and bank holidays.
