In a recent development reported by the Daily Mail, ex-Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah is currently training with Crystal Palace. The 28-year-old Dutch footballer, who is now a free agent, is utilizing this opportunity to keep his fitness levels sharp with the Eagles.
Fosu-Mensah's Career Journey and Current Status
Fosu-Mensah last played professionally for Bayer Leverkusen in 2024, but his time in Germany was marred by fitness issues, limiting him to just 30 matches before his departure. Since then, he has been without a club, making this training stint with Crystal Palace a crucial step in his efforts to stay match-ready.
His career began at Ajax, where he honed his skills before making a significant move to Manchester United in 2014 as a young prospect. At Old Trafford, he progressed through the academy and eventually made 30 appearances for the first team. Additionally, he gained valuable experience through loan spells at Crystal Palace and Fulham, which helped accelerate his development.

The only thing I knew was Amsterdam and the only thing I knew was Ajax. Here, everything is just different. The lads made me feel very welcome."
