Strictly signs Eurovision star Delta Goodrem for 2026

Strictly Come Dancing has confirmed the third celebrity for its 2026 series: Australian icon Delta Goodrem, who recently competed in the Eurovision Song Contest. The BBC had already announced Dani Dyer and EastEnders legend Lacey Turner as the first two stars to sign up.

Delta Goodrem joins the ballroom

The 41-year-old singer finished fourth at the Eurovision Song Contest last month with her song Eclipse. Speaking about joining Strictly, Goodrem said: 'I've been incredibly honoured to perform on many different stages throughout my career – from TV, theatre, film sets, to touring my own shows around the world. There is, however, one stage I've never stepped onto and that is the ballroom floor!'

She added: 'I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining Strictly and can't wait to get started!'

Previous contestants return

Dani Dyer, the former Love Island star, is hoping for a second chance at the trophy after being forced to drop out of last year's competition due to injury. Lacey Turner, known for her role in EastEnders, has also been confirmed as a contestant for the upcoming series.

The announcement has generated excitement among fans, with many eager to see Goodrem's ballroom debut. Strictly Come Dancing continues to attract high-profile celebrities from various entertainment fields.
