Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) has made numerous enemies due to his reckless actions. After the Corriedale crash, he allowed his mother Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) to take the blame for his dangerous driving. Upon her release, Carl fabricated a story about wanting to rebuild their relationship. However, Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) saw through the deception and confided in Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) that he wouldn't mind eliminating Carl permanently.
