EastEnders: Ian Beale May Be the One to Take Down Sinister Bea Pollard
EastEnders: Ian Beale May Take Down Bea Pollard

Bea Pollard's reign of terror in Walford may soon come to an end, and surprisingly, the one to expose her could be Ian Beale. The sinister schemer, played by Ronni Ancona, has been living rent-free under Honey Mitchell's roof and secretly took out a credit card in Honey's name, leaving her in thousands of pounds of debt. Her treachery was uncovered by newly elected local councillor Ian Beale, who became suspicious after Bea's reaction to their breakup. A subsequent investigation led him to realize that Bea was the culprit, and he confronted her in a dramatic showdown.

Honey's Accident and Bea's Revenge

Honey felt betrayed but didn't want Bea to go to prison, though she worried Bea could con someone else. Billy Mitchell insisted Bea move out, causing tension with Honey. When Honey fell from a ladder while attempting to fix the guttering, it emerged that Bea had tampered with the ladder, intending to harm Billy. Horrified that Honey was injured instead, Bea quickly devised an alibi, claiming she was working at McKlunkeys. Ian was shocked and immediately pointed the finger at Bea. Linda Carter, who knew Bea from school, believed Ian could be right. Billy also suspected Bea and confronted her at the hospital, but Bea feigned shock, and Honey asked Billy to apologize.

Ian's Determination

Despite apologizing, Billy later told Bea to move out after learning Honey needed surgery. With nowhere to go, Bea spent the night at McKlunkeys. Ian remains adamant about her guilt, though he lacks proof. As a local councillor, he promised to do good work for Walford. Will he succeed in exposing Bea and banishing her from Walford for good? EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One or streams from 6am on BBC iPlayer.
