Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) is set to take a chance on love with newcomer Sienna (Charlotte Tyree) in upcoming Coronation Street episodes. The troubled youngster, who has endured heartache including a coercive relationship with Corey Brent and a traumatic breakup with Nina Lucas, may finally find happiness.
Asha's romantic history on the cobbles
Asha's first romance was with school crush Corey Brent (Maximus Evans). Corey coerced her into stripping on a webcam, and the leaked footage led to severe bullying. She later discovered Corey was responsible for the hate-crime attack that killed Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) and exposed his crimes to police.
She then fell for Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher), a pairing many fans adored. However, Asha grew close to her paramedic mentor Isla (Emily Dowson), and jealous Nina kissed Asha's twin brother Aadi (Adam Hussain), ending the relationship. In 2025, Asha suffered a mental health crisis and suicide attempt after a traumatic shift as a paramedic.
A new romance with Sienna
In next week's episodes, Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby), Nina, and Amy (Ella Mulvaney) hold an intervention for Summer, concerned she's overdoing things after recent medical worries. Asha is distracted by the arrival of Sienna, her former supervisor. When Sienna's date stands her up, the girls urge Asha to make a move.
According to Metro Soaps, the scene teases whether Asha will take the bull by the horns and what Sienna's response will be. Fans will have to wait to see if this new romance blossoms.
