Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola has formally submitted a transfer request after attracting interest from Premier League clubs Arsenal and Liverpool, according to multiple reports.
Barcola's Season at PSG
The 23-year-old French international was a consistent presence for PSG throughout the 2025-26 campaign, netting 13 goals across all competitions as Luis Enrique's squad secured both the Ligue 1 title and the Champions League trophy. However, Barcola was surprisingly omitted from the starting lineup for the Champions League final against Arsenal, with Luis Enrique opting for an attacking trio of Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembele, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Premier League Interest
Earlier this week, reports surfaced indicating that both Arsenal and Liverpool have expressed interest in signing Barcola during the current summer transfer window. According to talkSPORT, the French winger has now officially asked to leave PSG in response to the Premier League duo's pursuit.
Barcola primarily operates on PSG's left flank, an area Arsenal are keen to strengthen this summer. The Gunners have already initiated talks to sign Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis, another target for the left-wing position. The 24-year-old Greek international, who was named Belgian Pro League Player of the Season last month after scoring 22 goals and providing 29 assists, is valued at €40 million (£34.5m) by his club.
International Duty
Barcola is currently with the French national team in Boston, preparing for their World Cup opener against Senegal on June 16.
