Hana Morris, 28, says she loves watching her partner perform in Magic Mike London and is not jealous when he gives other women lap dances, despite strangers telling her she is not good enough for him.
Love on Stage
The pair met while working on a dance production together. Hana, originally from Nelson, New Zealand, but currently living in East London, says she understands that it is simply part of his job. She said: 'I think when it comes to both people wondering how I don't get jealous and also the obsessive fan culture online, the common misconception is that it's real life. If it feels like that, it means he's doing his job well! But as dancers, we understand that it's just a performance and when you're on stage, it's your job to play a character and perform or entertain people.'
Supporting Each Other
Hana added: 'That's a huge part of why we love what we do, and I love watching him dancing and I bring my mum, dad, and friends - and seeing their reactions. They think what he does is impressive - he is good at what he does.' She noted that issues arose when they started posting on TikTok and Instagram, as Marcus gained fame. 'He has done so well, he has danced for Katy Perry, Robbie Williams - you name it - but Magic Mike really hit off public recognition for him. There were passionate TikTok girlies who got a bit upset when they found Marcus has a girlfriend. They would make fake accounts and message me saying I am not good enough for their Marcus which is so weird.'
Dealing with Trolls
Hana explained that the nasty comments came from women who fancy Marcus. 'There was a lot of that hate - jealousy I guess - but I knew it is because they just fancy Marcus, and not to do with me. After we posted as a couple I think people realised we had this real relationship and they switched up - thank god.'
How They Met
The pair first crossed paths on tour in March 2024, both having signed contracts to perform for Jolin Tsai's Ugly Beauty tour in China. Hana said: 'It was six months in our relationship when Marcus got the contract to work on Magic Mike - so the January of 2025. I was living in New Zealand - where I am from originally, and Marcus lived in Australia - and still does for now. I didn't even think about what the actual work was that he signed up for - I had just moved to London and I was desperate for him to move too - I was happy.'
She added: 'I have danced for a long while too, so I understand that when you are dancing like that it's not cheating. I have danced for Tyla, Blackpink, Lorde, you know sometimes you really dance against others - it is just part of the job. I just wanted to be near him and make sure he was okay - I never thought about anyone else!'
Marcus's View
Marcus, who is currently living in Sydney, Australia, revealed that his biggest supporter throughout has been his girlfriend Hana. He said: 'I couldn't ask for a more supportive partner. She showed up to the most shows. Hana has 40 million videos of me pointing her out and blowing kisses for her – I look out for her.'
He added: 'On the tour you basically become best friends with everyone on tour, and all the Magic Mike crew see her as a sister so they get her involved somehow or make her feel comfortable. She cheered me on so much, in person and online, that even in the shows people would wave to her knowing she was my girlfriend.'
Marcus continued: 'Once someone even gave her a Labubu with my face on as a gift for after my show. She makes me meals, even when I am coming home half asleep from running around stage all night. I couldn't ask for her to do any more than she does, she is the best.'
