Police in New South Wales have launched an investigation after the body of a woman was discovered inside a suitcase on the side of a road in the state's southern region. The grim discovery was made on Sunday afternoon in the remote locality of Oallen, approximately 40 kilometres south of Goulburn.
NSW Police confirmed they received a report at around 12:50pm on Sunday indicating that a body had been located near the intersection of Wolgon Road and Oallen Ford Road. Officers attended the scene and subsequently found the body concealed within a suitcase. While formal identification has not yet been completed, a police spokesperson stated on Sunday evening that the remains are 'believed to be female'.
