Teenager Fatally Shot in Daylight Attack
A 16-year-old boy has died after being shot in the city of Pomona, located in Los Angeles County, on Sunday afternoon. Police officers responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 5pm on Sunday, 26 November 2025.
Upon arrival, they discovered a teenage male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the rapid response from emergency services, the boy was pronounced dead at the scene after firefighters arrived.
Young Suspect Taken Into Custody
Following an extensive investigation led by the Pomona Police Department's Major Crimes Unit, a suspect was identified. In a startling development, authorities arrested a 13-year-old girl in connection with the homicide.
The Pomona Police Department released a statement confirming that the juvenile female was considered the "possible perpetrator". She was subsequently taken into custody and transported to Juvenile Hall.
