Police and ambulance crews descended on a street in Northolt, West London, on Thursday night after a man in his thirties was stabbed. The incident occurred on Church Road, near the White Hart roundabout, prompting a significant emergency response.
Arrest and Police Investigation
Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called to the scene at approximately 11:10pm on November 6. Upon arrival, they discovered a man suffering from stab wounds. A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene in the Ealing area on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm and possession of Class B drugs. He remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
Victim's Condition and Emergency Response
The victim was treated by paramedics before being rushed to a major trauma centre. A spokesperson for the Met Police has confirmed that the man's injuries are assessed as neither life-changing nor life-threatening.
The London Ambulance Service detailed their extensive response, stating they sent an ambulance crew, two paramedics in fast response cars, an incident response officer, and a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance. They were called at 11:19pm and treated the patient at the scene before transporting him to hospital.
