The Metropolitan Police have formally charged a 20-year-old man with murder following a fatal stabbing in West London that claimed the life of 46-year-old Marcin Krzysztof Nowak.

Kamil Krawczyk, of no fixed address, appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Saturday, 27th April, facing murder charges in connection with the incident that occurred in the Hayes area.

Tragic Discovery in West London

Emergency services were called to Central Avenue in Hayes shortly after 11:30 PM on Thursday, 25th April, following reports of a man suffering from stab wounds. Despite the efforts of paramedics and police officers at the scene, Mr Nowak, who was from West Drayton, was pronounced dead.

Police Investigation Continues

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police's Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mr Nowak's death. While a suspect has been charged, officers continue to appeal for information from anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant footage.

A police spokesperson confirmed: "The victim's family have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers during this difficult time."

Court Proceedings Underway

Krawczyk remains in custody as the legal process moves forward. The case highlights ongoing concerns about violent crime in the capital as authorities work to address knife crime across London boroughs.
