Man Appears in Court Over Pensioner's Death

A 45-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a pensioner in Northamptonshire. John Mills appeared at Northampton Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 13th November 2025, accused of killing 71-year-old John Boyle.

Tragic Discovery in Kettering

The investigation began after police responded to reports of concern for a person's welfare. On Saturday, officers discovered Mr Boyle with fatal injuries at a property on Leatherland Court in Kettering.

In addition to the murder charge, John Mills has also been charged with the theft of a motor vehicle in connection with the same incident.

Northamptonshire Police confirmed that a 42-year-old man and two women, aged 27 and 35, who were also arrested, have been released on police bail while inquiries continue.
