Killer jailed for life after stabbing family friend with 'unimaginable depravity'
Life sentence for killer who stabbed sleeping woman

Shocking Murder in Kent Home

A 21-year-old man has been sentenced to life imprisonment for what a judge described as a murder involving 'acts of almost unimaginable depravity'. Ernestas Juska brutally stabbed his mother's friend, 39-year-old Nina Denisova, as she slept in a spare bedroom at his mother's house in Dartford, Kent, in August last year.

Calm Confession and Arrest

After the violent attack, Juska walked to a nearby bus stop where he told a member of the public to call the police because he had killed someone. Bodycam footage released by Kent Police shows the moment officers detained Juska, who was sitting casually on the pavement with his legs crossed. When asked by an officer what had happened, Juska calmly confessed to killing 'a friend of your mum's' and directed police to the crime scene at his home on Henderson Drive.

The court heard that Juska appeared remarkably composed when officers informed him that the victim had been pronounced dead. He simply nodded in acknowledgment as he was further arrested for murder.

Sustained and Savage Attack

Maidstone Crown Court learned the horrifying details of the murder that occurred in the early hours of the morning. Juska had spent the evening socialising with his mother and friends at their home before the atmosphere turned sour when his mother criticised him for being unemployed.

After Ms Denisova had gone to bed, Juska consumed cocaine and alcohol. Between 5:30am and 6am, he took 'the biggest knife he could find' from the kitchen and went to the room where Ms Denisova was sleeping.

Danny Moore KC, prosecuting, described how Juska stabbed her in the neck, and when she began to struggle, he put his hands over her mouth before stabbing her through both eyes. The attack continued with further stab wounds to her belly and chest.

Further Appalling Acts and Sentencing

The court heard that after Ms Denisova's death, Juska committed additional 'appalling acts' by sexually abusing her body. He was charged with both murder and committing a sexual offence against a deceased female.

Medical experts told the court that violent pornography had an 'extreme impact' on Juska. Mr Justice Dexter Dias KC said it 'cannot be a coincidence' that after consuming pornographic content featuring dead bodies, rape and bestiality, Juska wanted to 'try' having sex with a dead body.

Juska pleaded guilty and was sentenced on Friday, November 28, 2025. He received a life sentence with a minimum term of almost 25 years before he can be considered for parole.

In a victim impact statement read to the court, Ms Denisova's brother described his sister as a 'very calm and positive person' and said the family could never forgive Juska for his actions. Ms Denisova had come to the UK from Lithuania in 2006.

Detective Sergeant Max Gregory of Kent Police stated: 'Juska was responsible for an act of shocking and senseless brutality, seemingly without reason or any hint of remorse. The fact that he went on to commit further appalling acts after her death shows a level of depravity which defies belief.'
