Keating appeared in the BBC One soap EastEnders between 2005 and 2017, playing the role of Reverend Stevens. His character frequently shared scenes with the iconic Dot Cotton, portrayed by June Brown. Beyond Walford, Keating was the only actor to appear in all 52 episodes of the classic science fiction series Blake's 7. He played Vila Restal, a witty criminal with a talent for hacking security systems. The character became a fan favorite due to his humor and impeccable comedic timing.
