E-fit Image Released in Indecent Exposure Investigation
Police are urgently appealing to the public for help in identifying a suspect after a man exposed himself to a woman walking her dog in a West London woodland. The incident occurred in Ruislip Woods, near Wiltshire Lane, at approximately 6:40pm on Monday, July 21.
Details of the Disturbing Incident
The victim, a woman in her 40s, was reportedly approached by a man who was wearing nothing but a white T-shirt. The individual then indecently exposed himself to her before leaving the scene. The suspect is described as a white male with long, floppy, wind-swept brown hair and a dark beard running between his ears. He was also seen wearing an Adidas jumper.
Detective Constable James Scarr, from the Western Area Local Investigations team, provided a statement on the case's status. "This incident took place early on a Monday evening, not far from a residential area," he said. "Months have elapsed, and we have explored most lines of enquiry in this case – with limited forensic and CCTV opportunities available. We have taken the decision to release an e-fit of a man we wish to speak to in connection with the investigation."
Police Appeal for Public Assistance
DC Scarr emphasised the seriousness of the offence, stating, "Indecent exposure is a repulsive form of sexual offending, which can escalate to even more serious criminality. We are committed to stamping it out." The police are now asking crucial questions to the public: Do you recognise the man in the e-fit? Did you see anything out of the ordinary that day?
