Corrections: Paul Smith Loss, BBC Documentary Title
Corrections: Paul Smith Loss, BBC Documentary Title

The Guardian has issued corrections to two previously published articles. Paul Smith's company reported a pre-tax loss of £16.7m last year, not “more than £22m” as earlier stated. The correction follows an editing error in an interview with the fashion designer published on 7 September. Additionally, the BBC documentary previously referred to as “A Bitter Pill: The Sodium Valproate Scandal” has been renamed “Mums v Big Pharma”.

Paul Smith Financial Correction

In the interview titled “I’m an oddball in today’s world” (7 September, G2, p6), the loss figure was incorrectly reported. The company's actual pre-tax loss for the year was £16.7m. The Guardian apologizes for the error.

BBC Documentary Title Change

A guide to this autumn's arts recommended the BBC’s documentary on the sodium valproate scandal. The documentary’s name has been changed to “Mums v Big Pharma” (31 August, G2, p2). This change reflects the final title used by the BBC.
