Corrections: Offshore Firms, Bosnian War, Baby Food Sugar
Corrections: Offshore Firms, Bosnian War, Baby Food Sugar

The Guardian has published a series of corrections and clarifications regarding recent articles, including details about offshore company information fees, the timeline of the Bosnian war, and findings on sugar content in baby foods.

Offshore Company Fee Correction

An earlier article titled 'A flagrant breach' (26 August, p33) stated that applications for information about offshore companies required a fee to be paid by international wire transfer. The correction clarifies that card payments are now available. Additionally, while 'protection from disclosure' applications can cost $1,000 in some locations, as previously stated, they can also be made in the UK for £100.

Bosnian War Timeline Fix

The article 'Butcher of Bosnia' (29 August, p33) incorrectly stated that the Bosnian war ended in 1994. The correct timeline is that the war took place from 1992 to 1995. This correction ensures historical accuracy in reporting.
