Corrections and clarifications: Compass pressure group error corrected
Corrections and clarifications: Compass error corrected

The Guardian has issued a correction regarding a recent article that mischaracterized the centre-left pressure group Compass. In the piece titled "Burnham’s long and winding road to his overnight success" published on 27 June, page 16, Compass was described as "Labour-affiliated" due to an editing error. While Compass was initially founded in 2003 exclusively for Labour Party members, its membership has been open to all individuals who support progressive policies, regardless of party affiliation, since 2011. This error appeared only in the print edition.

Other recently amended articles
