The Guardian has published corrections to two articles from the 22 July edition.
Airbus wing assembly location
In the article 'Airbus to test folding wings in race to shape planes of tomorrow' (22 July, p33), it was incorrectly stated that Airbus would assemble prototype wing extensions at its factory in Broughton, north Wales. The correct location is the Airbus technology centre in Filton, near Bristol.
Yew tree location error
In the article 'Tree of the Year award to pay tribute to UK’s toughest timber' (22 July, p21), the yew tree hit by a cannonball during the English civil war was erroneously placed in Crowhurst, East Sussex. The correct location is Crowhurst, Surrey, which also has an ancient yew. This error occurred in print only.
