Boy, 4, abducted in park in front of mother, found safe

A four-year-old boy was allegedly abducted while playing near a pond in front of his mother at Haden Hill Park in Cradley Heath, West Midlands, on Thursday. The incident occurred shortly after 3pm in the park off Halesowen Road.

Incident Details

According to police, the mother was looking after a baby while the boy played near a fishing pond. He disappeared and was later found in a nearby woodland. Officers have identified a teenage suspect, described as black, short in height, with curly hair, wearing black clothing, and clean-shaven.

Investigation Underway

Police believe the incident is isolated. An investigation has been launched, and CCTV footage is being reviewed. Specially trained officers are speaking to the boy and his family to establish what happened.
