Hollyoaks fans who insisted Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) did not kill his brother Jenson Cole (Ryan Clayton) have been proven correct. In Wednesday's episode (July 22) on Channel 4 streaming, it was revealed that Jenson is alive and well.
Gemma staged the murder
Crime boss Gemma Johnston (Tisha Merry) orchestrated the shooting to show Jenson that Warren was only using him for Sebastian Blake's bone marrow transplant. Jenson was supposed to be the donor but failed to show up. Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) became a last-minute match, allowing the procedure to proceed.
Earlier, Gemma had taken Jenson prisoner twice, accusing him of stealing her crypto wallet. The real culprit was Warren. When Warren learned Jenson's location, he confronted his brother, tied to a chair with a bag over his head. Warren scolded Jenson for letting Sebastian down and shot him.
Fans suspected a twist
Viewers doubted Jenson was the victim. Metro reader Debbie said, 'I think it’s someone in place of Jenson Warren shot (dressed in Jenson’s clothes to make Warren think it’s him).' Karen added, 'It’s too obvious that it’s Jenson.' Paige echoed, 'don’t believe' Jenson was the one shot.
Their suspicions were correct. The person Warren shot was Gemma's henchman Billy. The question now is how Warren will react when he discovers the truth, and what Gemma and Jenson's next move will be.
