Police Hunt St Pancras Sex Attacker After Escalator Assault

British Transport Police have launched a public appeal for information two months after a woman was sexually assaulted at St Pancras International station in London.

Details of the St Pancras Station Incident

The attack occurred on an escalator at the busy transport hub at approximately 7.30am on Saturday, November 22. Following the assault, the unidentified man attempted to follow the victim into a nearby building but was prevented from doing so.

CCTV Image Released in Investigation

Detectives have now released a CCTV image of a man they urgently wish to speak to in connection with the investigation. A statement from British Transport Police reads: "Detectives believe the man in the image may have information that could help their investigation."

The footage shows a middle-aged Black man with distinctive features including:

  • A short black beard
  • A white hat bearing the Chanel logo covering his hair
  • A hooded black puffer-style jacket
  • Black trousers
  • Red trainers

Ongoing Transport Network Investigations

This appeal comes as police continue to investigate another sexual assault on London's transport network. Authorities are also seeking a man who assaulted a woman on the Elizabeth line in late November, on a service travelling between Paddington and Bond Street stations.
