A resurfaced clip shows Rizzle Kicks singer Jordan Stephens revealing the creative PowerPoint presentation he made to win over Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall, just days after reports emerged that the couple have ended their six-year relationship.
Multiple insider sources have confirmed the separation, though neither Thirlwall, 33, nor Stephens, 34, has issued a public statement. The pair reportedly held "frank discussions" about their future and made a mutual decision to part ways earlier this year, despite having moved in together and splitting their time between London and Margate.
Amicable split and career focus
Insiders emphasise that the split remains entirely amicable. One source noted that Stephens continues to be "incredibly proud" of Thirlwall's solo career and that "there will always be love between them." Both artists are immersing themselves in professional projects: Thirlwall is preparing for an international solo music tour, while Stephens recently embarked on a solo "spiritual retreat" in Yorkshire to clear his mind.
Fans had spotted warning signs on social media before the announcement, including Stephens deleting all shared TikTok and Instagram photos with Thirlwall from his accounts. The couple also failed to acknowledge their sixth anniversary in mid-May.
The PowerPoint pitch that won her over
The resurfaced clip comes from Stephens' appearance on Paul C. Brunson's podcast We Need To Talk last year. Stephens explained that a mutual friend suggested he and Thirlwall would hit it off, prompting him to text the friend and ask if they could "pitch him" to her.
"She popped in and said, 'What's your pitch then,'" Stephens recalled. He created an "awful" PowerPoint presentation, describing it as his sense of humour. One slide was titled "reasons to like me," where he noted he was "more than five friends" and could "definitely have more." He also mentioned that his dog loves him.
"She obviously found that funny, and now we're almost five years," Stephens said on the podcast.
