Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown) has confessed to the police about her attack on Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) in Coronation Street. The confession came after Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) confronted her sister about the assault, which occurred on the night of Theo Silverton's murder. Jodie struck Sarah over the head and knocked her unconscious after finding her peering into her trinket box.
Jodie crashes baby Harper's homecoming party
In Monday's episode (July 27), Jodie crashed baby Harper's homecoming party and revealed she had confessed to the police and been charged with assaulting Sarah. However, this was not the only shock for the Platt family.
Lily discovers a gun in Jodie's trinket box
Jodie has been carrying her trinket box since arriving on the cobbles, filling it with stolen items from neighbours. Lily Platt (Grace Ashcroft-Gardner) found the box hidden under the sofa while searching for her games console. When she opened it, she discovered a gun inside. The weapon had been discarded by Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) after a showdown with brother Kevin (Michael Le Vell) in the garage, and Jodie took it for herself.
Lily confronts Jodie about the weapon
Lily confronted Jodie about the gun, but Jodie brushed it off, insisting it wasn't real. Lily was not convinced and later told David (Jack P Shepherd) about the hidden weapon.
What will David do?
David already has a low opinion of Jodie. How will he react to this revelation? Will Jodie be kicked out of the Platt household for good?
