A 24-year-old woman has been killed and a man in his twenties hospitalised after a double stabbing in west London. The incident occurred on Uxbridge Road in Hayes, with emergency services called at approximately 7:55 am on July 12, 2026. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the man was found outside with stab wounds.
Suspect arrested after jumping from window
Police quickly located a 44-year-old man nearby who matched the suspect's description. He had injuries believed to have been caused by jumping from a window and was taken to hospital. He was arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of a knife in a public place.

Detective Chief Inspector Allam Bhangoo of the Metropolitan Police said: 'This is a shocking incident which has tragically resulted in one woman losing her life and another man in hospital with injuries. Our thoughts at this time are with both victims and their loved ones, who are being supported by specialist officers.' He added that there is no wider threat to the public, but locals can expect increased police presence in the coming days.
