A 15-year-old boy has died after being found with suspected stab wounds outside a hospital in Melbourne. Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Incident at Craigieburn Community Hospital
The boy was discovered critically injured outside Craigieburn Community hospital on Lygon Drive, in Melbourne's north, at approximately 7:50 pm on Wednesday. A staff member from the medical centre rushed to his aid and administered CPR, but was unable to save him, and he died at the scene.
Arrests Made
Police established a crime scene and stated that the boy, from Mickleham, had yet to be formally identified. At about 5:30 am on Thursday, a 16-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man were arrested in the nearby suburb of Pascoe Vale. They will be interviewed by homicide squad detectives, according to Victoria Police. The investigation remains ongoing.
