Oasis have officially announced their Live '27 tour, ending months of speculation over whether Liam and Noel Gallagher would get back on the road. After the success of their 2025 reunion, the Britpop legends will play 38 shows across the UK, Ireland, mainland Europe and the US next year, with Richard Ashcroft joining them as a special guest at every date.
Oasis '25 saw the brothers and their band perform 41 shows in 14 countries across five continents, with massive turnouts at venues like London's Wembley Stadium and Manchester's Heaton Park. The new tour will kick off with five nights at Glasgow's Celtic Park in May before returning home for 11 shows at Manchester's Etihad Stadium throughout June.

The tour will then head across Europe for dates in Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris and Rome before crossing the Atlantic for shows in Boston and Las Vegas. Perhaps the biggest surprise has been saved for last, with Oasis returning to two locations firmly embedded in the band's history.
Liam and Noel will play two nights at Ireland's Slane Castle before Live '27 concludes with four enormous shows at Knebworth on September 11, 12, 18 and 19 – more than three decades after Oasis famously played to 250,000 fans there in 1996.
A source previously told The Sun: 'Knebworth is a special place for Noel and Liam. The shows in 1996 broke records as 2.6million people applied for tickets. It was the largest demand for tickets in British music history. They broke that with Oasis Live '25. Now they're going to become the only act to have played Knebworth six times.'
Announcement and fan reaction
Announcing their return in typically understated fashion, Oasis said: 'START THE CELEBRATIONS!!!! After a period of reflection “The Most Damaging Pop Cultural Force In Recent British History” has declared itself fit for purpose and will once again return to lift the spirits of the people. Come witness the fitness. It shall be a sight to behold.'
Last week, the Gallaghers lit up the skies of Manchester after launching an impressive drone show that teased the official announcement. During the event, the drones formed the Oasis logo before spelling out '4PM BST', and then the date '14.09.26'.
Ticket registration and pricing
There is one major difference for fans hoping to avoid a repeat of the ticketing chaos surrounding Live '25: there will be no general sale. Instead, fans must register for the chance to buy tickets by 4pm BST on Thursday, September 17. Successful applicants will then receive a unique, non-transferable code giving them access to an allocated ticket sale window.
In the UK, those sales will take place across Friday, September 25, Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, with three different windows each day. Fans will be told exactly which window they can access and when, and registration will be the only public route to tickets, with no additional public presales or general sale planned. Standard tickets will be fixed between £71.50 and £266.60 including fees.
If the chaos around the Oasis '25 ticket release is anything to go by, the demand for these new Oasis gigs is almost guaranteed to cause another supernova of ticket purchase activity. Many fans were faced with queues of over 500,000 other people when trying to claim spots at the numerous locations of the anticipated tour. A wave of scams and extortionate resale prices followed quickly in the wake of the ticket release, which even forced the then-prime minister to get involved, with Keir Starmer saying it's 'not fair' after fans realised the eye-watering price of resale tickets.
Thankfully Oasis will not be using dynamic pricing this time around, and Ticketmaster is reportedly drafting in extra staff to cope with demand. Time will tell whether we'll see similar scenes of demand and frustration as and when the new dates go officially on sale – but it would be a safe bet to assume Oasis '27 will be just as Supersonic as '25.
