Two men have been charged following a reported murder in South London, with a body later discovered in a wooded area in Kent.

Incident in Wandsworth

Police were called to Kingfisher Court, Wandsworth, at 10.55pm on Thursday, July 9, after reports of a potential murder. Officers arrived but found no one at the scene. However, a subsequent search led police to believe that someone had been harmed, and an investigation was launched.

Body discovered in Kent

On Friday, July 10, police attended a wooded area in Borstal, Kent, where a man was found deceased. The victim has not been formally identified, but authorities believe they know who he is. Police stated that the victim and the two arrested men were known to each other.

Charges and court appearance

On Saturday, July 11, Joshua Miller, 32, of Kingfisher Court, Wandsworth, was charged with murder and preventing a lawful burial. Jamie Cooper, 27, of the same address, was charged with preventing a lawful burial. Both have been remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday, July 13.
