Discovery of Bodies

On Monday, July 6, police received a report concerning a family who had not been seen for several days. After conducting enquiries, officers forced entry into a property on Carnoustie Drive in Great Denham, where they discovered the bodies of a woman and two children. The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit has taken over the investigation.

Police Response

Assistant Chief Constable John Murphy stated: "This is a deeply distressing incident in which a mother and her two children are believed to have been murdered. Our thoughts are first and foremost with all those affected." He added that specialist teams are being deployed and uniformed patrols increased in the Great Denham area to provide reassurance.
