Emmerdale star Lisa Riley has addressed reports that her on-screen son Bradley Johnson is leaving the ITV soap, stating that the departure has not been officially confirmed. Riley, who plays Mandy Dingle, spoke at the TRIC Awards, responding to speculation about Johnson's exit as Vinny Dingle.
Riley denies confirmed exit
When asked about saying goodbye to Johnson, Riley told the Daily Express: 'That's not confirmed! I don't know where that's come from! I can't confirm nor deny. He's my dream. We are like family. We're so close. You can see how much we laugh. We're a family at Emmerdale and we are really happy.'
Vinny's storyline and potential departure
Earlier this year, reports emerged that Johnson is allegedly leaving the show. Vinny Dingle has been a central character, especially after the revelation that Tina Dingle (Samantha Powers) is his biological mother, causing emotional turmoil. Emmerdale has not officially confirmed Johnson's exit, leaving fans speculating.
Riley also teased Mandy's upcoming storyline: 'Mandy is not happy with Kev. She can spot a rogue a mile off, can't she? Watch out Kev, the smother mother might be coming out. Then again, with Kev, over time, they could grow closer.'

Kev Townsend, played by Chris Coghill, recently returned to the village. He is the biological father of Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches), and his presence may affect Lewis's relationship with Vinny, reminding Vinny of his violent father Paul Ashdale (Reece Dinsdale).
