Trump Shares AI Images of Alien Encounter and Space Strikes in Bizarre Posts
Trump Posts AI Images of Alien and Space Strikes

Donald Trump has once again filled his Truth Social feed with bizarre AI-generated images, posting 19 of them in just over an hour on Sunday afternoon. The posts ranged from boasts about sinking Iranian warships to defending his renovation of a reflecting pool in Washington DC. However, the most eye-catching image shows Trump walking on a military base alongside a tall grey alien, surrounded by men in suits and sunglasses. The low-quality image is designed to look like a secretly captured photograph, with blurry fingers obscuring part of the view.

Alien References and UFO Files

The alien image may be an attempt to remind people of the recently released 'UFO files' from the newly renamed Department of War. These documents revealed that astronauts on Apollo missions had seen mysterious lights in space, and that the Nazis attempted to build a UFO during World War II. The release appears to have failed to distract Americans from the ongoing Iran War.

Space Force and Explosions

Other posts from the spree placed Trump on a ship orbiting Earth, highlighting his role in creating the US Space Force. In one image, he presses a big red button at a desk with four tiny generals beside him, while explosions on screens behind him destroy part of the planet's surface. Confusingly, two mini explosions also appear on the desk itself.

Trump has long been a fan of AI-generated images and has been using them more frequently. On May 9, he posted similar content, including visualizations of Iranian drones falling like dying butterflies and mock-ups of a UFC fighting stage on the White House lawn.

Misleading War Comparisons

Among the AI nonsense, Trump included a bar chart comparing the length of the Iran War to other conflicts. It claims the Middle East 'excursion' has lasted only six weeks, compared to 196 weeks for World War II and 209 weeks for the US Civil War. However, the war has actually been ongoing for ten weeks since late February, and Trump initially promised it would last only four weeks.
