Coronation Street star Tony Maudsley has revealed the heartbreaking loss of his beloved dog Bosie, a Bichon Frise who passed away a few weeks ago. The actor, known for playing undertaker George Shuttleworth on the ITV soap, shared the news on Instagram, describing it as the 'saddest day of my life'.

In a moving post, Maudsley wrote: 'Had to say goodbye to my Bosie a few weeks ago. Been a bit too heartbroken to share till now. He's always featured very heavily on my Insta posts as you know. Saddest day of my life and I'll miss him terribly.' He also revealed a permanent tribute: a tattoo of Bosie, created by Marko Prenger at Hand of Hope Tattoo, the brother of his on-screen sister Jodie Prenger. 'Bosie will now walk with me everywhere, sitting just above my ankle, forever,' Maudsley added.
