Meghan Markle Shares Intimate Video Filmed by Daughter Lilibet
Meghan Markle posts video of Harry kiss and dance

The Duchess of Sussex has offered her followers a rare and intimate look into her family life in California, sharing a personal video of herself and Prince Harry sharing a kiss and an impromptu dance.

A Glimpse Behind the Curtain

In the black-and-white clip posted to her Instagram on Friday, Meghan Markle is seen walking towards her husband before he pulls her in for an embrace and a kiss. The couple, dressed in casual attire, then break into a spontaneous dance. The tender moment, which sees Harry lift Meghan up as she wraps her arms around his neck, was captured by a very special family member.

The Duchess credited the footage to ‘our daughter’, Princess Lilibet. In her caption, Meghan wrote: ‘When 2026 feels just like 2016….you had to be there,’ seemingly referencing the early, private days of their relationship.

First Post of the New Year

This marked Meghan’s first video post since the start of 2026. Alongside the moving clip, she also shared a nostalgic photograph from a trip to Botswana in August 2016, showing her and Harry in a close hug. The Botswana trip was a significant moment early in their courtship.

The last time the 44-year-old duchess posted on her social media was a festive cooking video featuring her favourite holiday playlist. She also previously shared a rare family portrait that included clearer images of both her children, Archie and Lilibet, which was notable as the couple typically shield their children’s faces from public view.

Royal Contrasts in the New Year

This personal insight from the Sussexes’ life in Montecito comes as the working royals in the UK prepare for a year of change. Royal experts suggest the Princess of Wales is set to take on ‘greater roles’ within the monarchy in 2026.

The new year also follows significant upheaval for Prince Andrew. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who lost his royal titles last year, continues to face fallout from his alleged association with the late Jeffrey Epstein. He has consistently denied any wrongdoing.

It is believed the former Duke of York is now preparing to move out of the Royal Lodge, his home of 22 years, after a removal van was spotted at the Windsor property. Reports indicate he is expected to relocate to a temporary residence on the Sandringham estate.
