A body has been discovered during the search for a missing woman in Kent. Joanna Lewis, 59, was last seen in the Colts Hill area of Tonbridge on Wednesday, April 29, at around 9am. She was believed to have traveled to nearby Tudeley woods, prompting growing concern from police who launched an urgent appeal to locate her.
Discovery in Woodland
In an update on Thursday afternoon, police confirmed that a woman's body was found in woodland near Half Moon Lane as part of the search. Joanna's family have been informed of the development. Police have stated that the death is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
