Lucy Worsley returns with another engaging history lesson in Lucy Worsley Investigates: The American Revolution on BBC Two at 9pm. In this two-part series, she offers the British perspective, or as she calls it, “the untold version,” of the American Revolution. Marking the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the first episode begins in New York, where George Washington read out “the ultimate breakup letter.” It then examines the events of King George III’s reign that led to this historic moment.
