Two teenagers have been taken into custody on suspicion of murder as police intensify their investigation into the fatal shooting of a young boy in South East London. Eghosa Ogbebor, aged 14, was tragically shot to death on Lord Warwick Street in Woolwich during the afternoon of Thursday, April 2.

Officers were alerted to the incident at 3.40pm and swiftly arrived at the location, accompanied by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service. Upon arrival, they discovered Eghosa suffering from severe injuries. Despite the immediate efforts of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Arrests and Ongoing Investigation
A murder investigation is actively underway, leading to the arrest of two teenagers in Woolwich on Saturday, April 4. The suspects, a 16-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man, remain in police custody. Additionally, a 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and is also being held. Previously, on Friday, April 3, two boys aged 14 and 16, along with an 18-year-old man, were arrested in connection with Eghosa's death. They have since been released on bail as inquiries progress.
