Teen stabbed in Cricklewood, police hunt suspect

A 19-year-old teenager was rushed to hospital following a serious stabbing in North West London on New Year's Day, with the Metropolitan Police confirming the suspect remains at large.

Attack on Olive Road

The violent incident occurred on Olive Road in Cricklewood at approximately 11:37pm on Thursday, 1 January. Emergency services were called to the scene after reports of an assault.

Officers discovered the young man suffering from stab wounds. He was promptly taken to a major trauma centre for urgent medical treatment.

Police Investigation Underway

A spokesperson for the Met Police provided details of the ongoing investigation. They confirmed the victim's injuries, while serious, were assessed by hospital staff as neither life-threatening nor life-changing.

No arrests have been made at this early stage. Detectives from the local policing team are carrying out extensive enquiries, which include reviewing local CCTV footage and conducting house-to-house visits in the area.

The police have issued a direct appeal to the public for assistance. They are keen to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of Olive Road around the time of the attack or who may have captured relevant dashcam or doorbell footage.
