The Metropolitan Police have officially identified the victim of a fatal stabbing in Battersea as 25-year-old Tai Folkes. The tragic incident occurred during a disturbance on Thessaly Road at approximately 6:10 PM on Monday, March 2, 2026.
Emergency Response and Arrests
Emergency services responded swiftly to the scene, where paramedics provided immediate treatment to Mr. Folkes before rushing him to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead a short time after arrival.

Key areas of focus included the vicinity around The Duchess Belle pub and under parked vehicles. Particular attention was directed towards the Savona Estate, where blue-and-white police tape sealed off the forecourt and gardens of several properties.
