A 48-year-old mother has died after falling from the tenth floor of a residential tower block in Madrid while holding her three-year-old twin children.
A Birthday Celebration Turns to Tragedy
The horrific incident occurred on the morning of December 6, 2025, in the Ciudad Lineal district, a quiet residential area roughly 30 minutes from the Spanish capital's centre. The woman, identified only as Maria, was killed instantly. Her young children, a boy and a girl, were rushed to hospital alive but in a critical condition.
In a devastating twist, the family had gathered just a day earlier to celebrate the twins' third birthday. Locals reported that Maria had been to a nearby shop to buy presents for her children only hours before the fall.
