Tragedy has struck a South West London community after a woman lost her life in a devastating house fire.

Emergency Response to the Blaze

The London Fire Brigade (LFB) confirmed they were called to a property on Broome Road in Hampton at 1.21am on Sunday, November 9. Firefighters arrived to find a severe fire ripping through the mid-terraced house.

A significant emergency response was deployed to tackle the incident. Four fire engines and approximately 25 firefighters worked at the scene to bring the blaze under control.

Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, the woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The fire caused extensive damage to the property, with half of the first floor of the house being destroyed by the flames.
